29 Sep 05 - Minister of Works Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu, warns against stop work and blames the resident for the cracks in a press conference. Samy Vellu also suggested we go back to using 'bullock carts'. This shows how ignorant he is with our issue as we are not against the development of the highway.
28 Sep 05 - YB Dato Shahrir (Chairman of Public Accounts Committee) visited the site at 8.30am to see for himself accompanied by a few other concerned MPs and told the press that he will advise DBKL to issue temporary stop work order until independant study can be conducted to determine the impact of the construction and how the cracks happened.

They concurred with our views.

- More house are experiencing cracks and air pollution gets worse. Concessionaire came to install meters to monitor the cracks development in 2 of the houses with severe cracks.

- Received numerous complaints on “lights-off” along Jalan 2/149. Conveyed complaints to concessionaire and asked to repair immediately.
Lights was restored one week later.
