21 Nov 2005 - Sri Petaling Residents Association will be having their annual dinner on Dec 3, 2005 and affected residents are invited to attend. We will be given a presentation slot for us to highlight our struggle and gain support for any actions we may take in time to come.
13 Nov 2005 - NTV7 features our issue in their My Siasat programme. The 21 min programme can be obtained in VCD format from our representatives.
2 Nov 2005 - Followed up with Biro Pengaduan Awam (BPA) on our letter of complaint dated 9 May 2005. Acknowledgement was received in June 2005 and has been tagged as 'under investigation' ever since. Ever since our Prime Minister called for a revamp of BPA, the following status was obtained.

- Following our issues and their developments in the local media
On the overall, proactive approach is still lacking despite some attempts to make changes for the better. The residents hope BPA is able to assist in addressing our issue.
2 Nov 2005 - The resident representatives met up with prominent town planning consultant to seek advice.
1 Nov 2005 - Another group of victims affected by similar predicament in Jalan Ipoh met our representatives. Their case involves an elevated highway very close to their houses located at the front of the houses. The highway is called the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE). |
