29 Aug 05 - Called Ministry of Work to follow-up on appointment but was told that the Minister will be overseas. Asked to call next Monday.

28 Aug 05 - YB Seputeh arranged English press coverage on cracks and press conference at residents’ houses. The Star newspaper turned up.

25 Aug 05 - LLM and concessionaire called for meeting with YB Seputeh to explain the cracks incidents. YB Seputeh invited us to join the meeting. Concessionaire claims that the cracks are not caused by the project. Also told them to ensure noise level is being controlled at site.

23 Aug 05 - YB Seputeh arranged press coverage on houses experiencing cracks. All Chinese newspapers attended. Event reported in all Chinese newspapers.

19 Aug 05 - Submitted copy of memorandum to PM office as arranged by Deputy Minister of Higher Education.

19 Aug 05 - 200 residents to send faxes to Ministry of Work daily. Proven to be effective channel to voice our request. Ministry called to acknowledge our request and promised to revert with appointment.

18 Aug 05 - Residents reported cracks in houses. Discussed options with YB Seputeh. YB organized a press conference for the resident affected.

16 Aug 05 - Prepared copies of memorandum for meeting with Minister of Work. Meeting postponed.

13 Aug 05 - Attended MCA Seputeh dinner. Our struggle was highlighted at the dinner and also conveyed message to MCA Deputy Ministers. MCA Div Chairman raised our issue at the dinner and we managed to get some press coverage.
